Falls City School Classified Employees get Raise

(KTNC) -  Classified employees in the Falls City School District will get a 3.25-percent pay raise next year.  The School Board unanimously approved the increase Monday, following an executive session. 
 Classified employees include all non-certified staff members – such as custodians, para-educators, cooks, and bus drivers.
 In other action Monday, the board approved the Core Services Resolution with ESU 4.  Core services include staff development, technology, and instructional material services support.
 The board approved a contract with the Southeast Nebraska Regional Program for students who are deaf or hard of hearing.
 The first reading of several revised policies was approved.
 And the board approved a recommendation to hire Kelsi Haug as a Third Grade teacher.
