(KLZA) A 31-year-old rural Shubert woman facing charges in two separate cases has entered into a plea agreement.
In the first case, Meagan Ivey pleaded guilty in Richardson County District Court this week to a misdemeanor charge of attempted possession of a controlled substance.
In exchange for the plea, a charge of failure to appear was dismissed.
Sentencing was set for August 6th.
Also as part of the plea agreement, charges in a second case against Ivey--including a felony count of terroristic threats and a charge of failure to appear--were dismissed at the request of the prosecution.
The case was dismissed with prejudice meaning it cannot be re-filed.
