Auburn School District Expects No Increase in Fees for New School Year

 (KLZA) The Auburn Board of Education approved the hiring of Miranda Gerdes as the new High School Business teacher and FBLA sponsor when they met Monday evening.

Board members also reviewed lunch prices and other fees for the 2013-14 school year and anticipate no changes to the fees from the previous school year.

Representatives of the Performing Arts Center Steering Committee updated the Board on their activities and a report on the 2013 post prom activities was received.

Board members did approve the purchases of new math text books for the district which Superintendent Kevin Reiman calls an area of priority for the district. ( play audio :30 seconds) 

Representatives of the Auburn Development Council also met with the Auburn School Board this week to inform them about a program they are doing.  ( play audio :23 seconds )

One of the items that is expected to be on the auction is the scoreboard from the former Auburn Middle School football field where the varsity football games use to be played in Auburn.
