(KAIR) -- Sometime during the day on Friday, June 21, weather permitting, both eastbound and westbound US-59 traffic over the Amelia Earhart Memorial Bridge at Atchison will be opened to the final traffic configuration across the new bridge.
Traffic over the new bridge will open to four-lanes beginning on the Atchison side of the state line and will be reduced back to a two-lane configuration once drivers are closer to the Missouri state line.
