(KAIR) -- A Blue Springs, Missouri man convicted of leading local authorities on a multi-county chase in late April will head to prison.
Trenton Wiseman was sentenced Monday in Atchison County District Court to nine months in prison for felony fleeing and eluding law enforcement.
Wiseman was also given a concurrent jail sentence for driving while suspended.
Wiseman was arrested following a chase that began in Buchanan County, Missouri, went through Atchison and Brown Counties in Kansas, before ending in Nemaha County after the truck he was driving got stuck on a muddy road. The truck had been reported stolen from Platte County, Missouri.
A passenger in the vehicle, Jacob Abney of Belton, Missouri, pled guilty to the same charge and is to be sentenced July 19th.
