( KNZA )--The city of Holton has a new fire chief.
Kevin Ingels, who has served as assistant chief since May 2004, takes over the position.
Ingels replaces Tony Raaf who retired effective Monday.
Holton City Manager Brett Bauer says the city commission this week recognized Raaf for his 24 years as a volunteer firefighter with the Holton Fire Department—including 9 years as fire chief.
