(KLZA) The Auburn Board of Education met Tuesday. During the meeting Superintendent Kevin Reiman talked a little about the budget for the next fiscal year. ( play audio :16 seconds )
In other business Board members approved the student fee structure for 2013-14 with no changes from the previous year. Bids were awarded to the companies submitting low bids for bread, Bimbo Bakeries which provide Sara Lee products and for milk to Hiland – Roberts.
Superintendent Reiman also noted grant funds from USDA Rural Development were received wrapping up the fund raising for the movie theater the school district now owns. ( play audio :30 seconds )

Handbooks for the Elementary and Secondary Schools were approved during the meeting and Board members voted to declare a large list of items surplus so they can be sold at auction August 3rd at the Auburn Middle School site. ( play audio :54 seconds )
