More Vandalism at Humboldt Public Restrooms
07/18/2013

(KTNC) - The public restrooms on the east side of the Humboldt City Park are closed again, after more vandalism was discovered in one of the facilities.
In the latest incident, someone vandalized the women’s restroom.  A city employee cleaning the restroom found fecal matter covering the floor and walls, and paper scattered over the room.  The mess was discovered last Friday.
The restrooms have been closed until further notice while the investigation continues into the latest incident.
Vandals struck the restrooms earlier this year, once over the Memorial Day weekend and again the following week.
In the earlier incidents, someone mutilated fish carcasses and threw the remains around the restrooms, and damaged the toilet paper dispensers in both the women’s and men’s rooms.
A reward for information leading to the arrest of those responsible for the vandalism has grown to $600.  Anyone with information should contact the Richardson County Sheriff’s Department.
