(KLZA) The Richardson County Sheriff’s Department reports two were injured in a one vehicle accident about 10:35 a-m Sunday approximately a quarter mile south of Rulo on 660 Boulevard.
76 year old Gary Marsh of Wichita was driving a mini van and told the investigating officers that he thought he blacked out and drove off the east side of the road and went into a ditch. The van traveled approximately 576 feet after leaving the roadway before coming to a stop in a ravine.
Gary Marsh and a passenger, 71 year old Mila Buchanan also of Wichita were transported in two separate ambulances to Community Medical Center complaining of chest pains.
Both victims were wearing seatbelts. Both airbags were deployed and the van was totaled.
