(KLZA) -- The Johnson County Fair gets in high gear today with the 4-H swine show, horse show, sheep and goat show along with the poultry and rabbit shows.
Papa Bear’s Chainsaw Artists will perform at 1 p-m this afternoon and at 6:30 p-m this evening is the hay stacking contest, frozen T-shirt and catch-a-pig contest. It is “arm band night” on the Midway from 6 – 10 p-m.
Saturday will be the sheep and goat show along with the bucket calf show in the morning. NBHA Barrel Racing will be on at 9:30 a-m.
The beef show is at 10 a-m with the horse show at 3 p-m. A Team roping event will begin at 8 p-m Saturday evening. The chainsaw artist show is at 11 a-m with the Huff & Puff lawn tractor pull will be at 1 p-m. the Little Tuggers tractors pull will be at 5 p-m and there will be entertainment in the grandstand featuring Paul Siebert.
At 9 a-m Sunday there will be a church service at 9 a-m at the grandstand. The County Horse show will be at 10 a-m. The pet and fashion show will be at 1 p-m. A Sunday highlight is the fair parade at 6 p-m. The 4-H Livestock premium sale will begin at 7 p-m.
