( KMZA )--The Nemaha County Commission has approved for publication a proposed 2014 budget of nearly $14.4 million that calls for a slight increase in the property tax levy.
The budget contains an estimated tax rate of 50.781 mills, up about .20 mills over this year’s budget. The amount of tax to be levied is nearly $6.4 million.
