( KNZA )--The proposed 2014 Doniphan County budget calls for total expenditures of nearly $10 million and a 1.4 mill property tax levy increase.
The county commission this week approved the budget for publication.
It contains an estimated tax rate of 43.879 mills, which is to generate more than $4.5 million.
The commission will consider adoption of the budget following a public hearing at their September 3rd meeting at 9 that morning.
