Boil Water Advisory Lifted for Hoyt
08/22/2013

( KNZA ) --A boil water advisory has been lifted for city of Hoyt.

The Kansas Department of Health and Environment issued the advisory Wednesday morning after the city experienced a loss of pressure in their water system due to a storage tank drawdown.

KDHE says laboratory testing of water samples collected indicates no evidence of contamination.

As a result, Hoyt customers no longer need to boil the water they use for drinking or food preparation.
