(KAIR)--The stockholders of Atchison based MGP ingredients have been working for months to oust the current leadership of the corporation and get the company back to where they think it should be.
Bud Cray, patriarch of the Cray family group, started with the company working for his father over seventy years ago says he is frustrated by the current roadblock that the current leadership has placed in their path. The opposing group filed a 90 day stay on holding stockholders meetings last month, and Cray says the results of the proxy fight that ended in their favor, cannot be announced until the stockholders can meet again.
Cray says that there is a great deal of hope for the future of the company once these legal roadblocks are removed. The Cray group has three outstanding new members for the board, with all three ready to step in once the legal hurdles are removed.
There is no set time for the board of directors to meet next, though Cray guesses that it will be sometime in mid October.
