(KNZA)--A new location for the Holton/Jackson County Chamber of Commerce.
That comes as their current location is selected as the site of a new retail business.
Now, Chamber staff and volunteers begin the process of moving from 105 West 4th Street to 104 West 5th Street, Suite 10.
The current location will close at 1:00 Wednesday, while the new, temporary location will go into operation on Monday, September 30th.
The decision to secure the temporary location was made by the Chamber of Commerce Board during their regular meeting this month.
Now, the Board will evaluate possible permanent locations for Chamber operations, including the possibility of shared office space with other compatible businesses or organizations.
