(KAIR)--Skyward looking residents in Atchison County noticed an unusual sight late Tuesday morning.
A blimp was spotted above the local area, with observers wondering what brought the unusual vehicle into local airspace.
Early into the noon hour, the blimp was spotted over Brown County, as it continued its flight.
The blimp is one of three owned by the MetLife Insurance Company, and is primarily utilized to provide aerial coverage of major sporting events.
All of the blimps are named after the company's mascot, the Peanuts character Snoopy the dog,
