(KAIR)--Residents in the USD 377 school district who are planning to vote in the upcoming November 5th Special Bond Election are running out of time if they have not already registered for the vote. According to a press release from Atchison county, the books for registration of voters in USD 377 will close for the the election on October 15th at 5:00PM. They will remain closed until the day after the election.
The county would like to remind potential voters that you must register before you can vote. Any citizen of the United States who is 18 years of age or older can participate. First time voters must show the proper identification when they register, as well as provide appropriate proof of U.S. Citizenship before they are eligible to vote.
Examples of proper proof of citizenship include birth certificate, passport, or naturalization documents
