(KLZA) Sid Dinsdale, Republican candidate for the U.S. Senate seat that will be open in Nebraska made a campaign swing through Southeast Nebraska Tuesday, which included a visit to Falls City.
The native of Palmer, Nebraska, who now live sin Elkhorn is president of Pinnacle Bancorp, Inc. which is Nebraska’s second-largest family-owned community bank. Dinsdale noted that he continues to be actively involved in his family’s agribusiness pursuits.
Dinsdale says there is a need to cut taxes and that he is sick of the government’s overreach affecting everything we do. He also noted he believes in term limits, saying he would serve no more than two terms if elected.
Dinsdale is one of four Republican seeking the party nomination for the U.S. Senate seat currently held by Mike Johanns.
He lists his goals if elected as reducing government regulation, lowering taxes, supporting energy independence, repealing ObabmaCare and protecting our borders.
