10/22/2013

(KNZA)--A Jefferson County bridge replacement project is now complete.
The Kansas Department of Transportation says the new K-192 bridge over Indian Creek opened to traffic Tuesday  afternoon.
Construction on the bridge began in early April.  The existing 24-foot bridge has been replaced with a 36-foot structure.
Hesston-based King Construction Company was the primary contractor on the more than $720,000 project.
