(KLZA) -- Two people were recently sentenced in Nemaha County, Nebraska District Court.
Kirby Clifton, Jr. was sentenced to one year in prison on a felony charge of operating a motor vehicle to avoid arrest. In addition, Clifton was fined $100 on a misdemeanor charge of fictitious plates.
Clifton was given credit for 232 days served which means he was already eligible for discharge from prison. In addition, his drivers license was revoked for a period of two years and he was ordered to pay court costs.
In a separate case, Clifton. was sentenced on a misdemeanor charge of attempted terroristic threats. Clifton was sentenced to eight months in the Nemaha County Jail. This sentence was to run consecutive to the prison sentence in the first case.
In another case, Patricia McKinney was sentenced to a period of 120 days in the Nemaha County Jail on two misdemeanor charges--attempted criminal impersonation and criminal trespass.
The jail sentences were to be served concurrently. With credit allowed for time served in jail, McKinney was released following sentencing.
