Rural Humboldt Man Injured in One Vehicle Accident

(KLZA) -- A rural Humboldt man has been hospitalized following a one-vehicle accident that occurred sometime early Sunday morning.  The Richardson County Sheriff’s Office was called shortly after 7 a-m to 71140,  635 road southeast of Humboldt.

A 2004 Chevy Monte Carlo driven by 34 year old Daniel “Jacob” Farwell left the roadway and hit a cement culvert then came to rest in a dairy farm lot.  Farwell was the only occupant in the vehicle.

The Humboldt Rescue Squad responded to the scene and transported Farwell to Community Medical Center in Falls City,  he was then taken by Life Flight to Bryan West Hospital in Lincoln.

The accident remains under investigation.

At this point there is no condition report available for Daniel “Jacob” Farwell from the hospital.
