(KTNC) - A Pawnee City teen faces several charges after leading Gage County authorities on a high-speed chase, topping 130 miles per hour.
The chase occurred early Friday morning and ended when 19-year-old Jacob Wissler wrecked his car.
Beatrice Police Lieutenant Mike Oliver says a Gage County Sheriff’s deputy first clocked Wissler’s vehicle at 69 miles per hour heading west on Court Street. Officers chased Wissler into the county, where he says the chase lasted for 20 miles.
The car took off southbound on Highway 77, turning off the headlights and accelerating onto Highway 112.
