(KAIR)--The Atchison police department is investing an alleged theft from the estate of a deceased Atchison man.
According to Police Chief Mike Wilson, the lawyer in charge of the estate of the late Jack Davis reported to them last Friday, that a 2001 GMC Sierra 3500 one ton truck had been removed from 1000 block of Oak Street, where it had been parked.
Wilson says his department does have some leads in the case, and that they are focusing on that it most likely happened on November 2nd.
The value of the missing truck is believed to be around $12,000.
