SE Nebraska Man Accused of Home Break-in
WYMORE, Neb. (AP) - A southeast Nebraska man has been accused of breaking into a home and assaulting a man sleeping on a couch.
Wymore police say Brandon Imes was arrested Tuesday morning after he allegedly entered the home and attacked the man. Witnesses say the man was hit several times in the head, face and torso. A woman told authorities Imes hit her in the face when she tried to intervene.
Items damaged in the alleged assault include a chair and computer table.
Additional information about the incident has not been released. The Beatrice Daily Sun reports that Imes, who is from Wymore, faces third-degree assault, criminal mischief, criminal trespassing and disturbing the peace.
His next court appearance is scheduled for December 10.
