Nemaha Co Commission Receives Funding Request
12/04/2013

(KMZA)--The Nemaha County Commission has received a funding request from a local non-profit organization that serves developmentally delayed infants and toddlers in northeast Kansas.

Representatives of Tiny-K came before the commission Monday to request a $40,000 appropriation from the Broxterman Estate Fund to help fund the services they provide to their clients in Nemaha County.

The organization currently serves 45 kids in Nemaha County.  The program is free to the families they serve and is mandated by the federal government.

Commissioners made no decision, but will take the request into consideration at a future meeting.
