Cost-Share Funds Available for Pollution Control Practices
Improving water quality is the emphasis of the Non-point Source Pollution Program managed by the Nemaha County Conservation District.
Cost sharing funds are available to encourage landowners to implement pollution control practices. Signup for assistance will run NOW through December15, 2013 or UNTIL FUNDING IS EXHAUSTED. Applications for cost sharing must be approved before construction or implementation of the practice begins.
Projects funded through the NPS program include:
Livestock Waste Systems, Household Septic Systems, Abandoned Water Well Plugging, Pasture and Range Management practices, Nutrient Management and Riparian Area Protection and Enhancement.
