Pawnee City Second at State One Act Competition

(KTNC)--Pawnee City placed second in the Class C2 One-Act Play Production competition, held Thursday at the Johnny Carson Theater in Norfolk.
 Pawnee City totaled 174 points from the three judges for its production of “The Penny Dreadfuls.” 
 Five Pawnee City students were recognized as outstanding actors in Class C2 – Carli Cabrerra, Savannah Nider, Hannah Davis, Chase Grizzle, and Scott Borcher. 
 Chase Grizzle was named the “Outstanding Male Performer” in Class C2. 
 Hartington won the C2 One Act competition, with its production of “The Perils of Lulu.” Savannah Scoville of Hartington was named the outstanding female performer.
 Pawnee City won the District One Act competition at Nebraska City Lourdes to advance to the state competition.
