(KNZA)--Students at the Wetmore school will be getting new Ipad’s thanks to a donation.
The Prairie Hills USD 113 Board of Education last week accepted bids for the purchase of 35 Ipad’s and cases at a total cost of $21,590.
Funding will be provided through a donation from Mr. and Mrs. Bob Carson, of Wetmore.
In other business, the board accepted the retirement resignation of longtime Sabetha Middle School science teacher and coach Dave Remmers, effective at the end of the 2013-2014 school year.
And a contract was approved with Jeff Suther to serve as a business teacher at Axtell for the 2014-2015 school year.
