(KNZA)--Jackson County employees have been granted a pay raise for 2014.
The Jackson County Commission recently approved a $50 a month pay increase for all full-time employees.  The increase will cost the county just over $62,000 a year.
In addition, the commission agreed to give each department head the authority to give part-time employees up to an additional 28 cents per hour if the department budget allows.
Last year, the commission approved a $100 a month raise for full-time employees, which was their first pay increase in four years.
