The Farm Service Agency in Atchison County would like to remind producers of an important deadline coming up quickly.
The grass certification deadline was November 15, 2013. Wheat Certification deadline was December 15, 2013. You can still report grass and wheat acreage up until January 15, 2014, without a late file penalty. After January 15th, a fee will be incurred per crop per farm.
