(KLZA) Richardson County Commissioners approved agreements with the State of Nebraska during their Tuesday meeting for the programming of the Verdon Northwest project which is replacement of the Tynon Bridge located approximately 3.5 miles north and 2 and-a-quarter miles west of Verdon.
The bridge replacement will be federally funded and Richardson County will be responsible for approximately 10 percent of the total cost. County officials are hoping the project will begin yet this year.
Commissioners also approved a bid of $700 per month from Medics at Home for lease of the armory on the west edge of Falls City. Medics at Home want to lease the armory for a short time while they look for a permanent location.
County Attorney Doug Merz reviewed legal business with the Board and Commissioners authorized Chairman David Sickel to sign a Section 125 Plan document with First Concord Benefits Group.
