(KLZA) -- Richardson County Commissioners have approved a 2.75-percent pay raise for the appraiser position in Richardson County.
The position went from a contracted position to a county position in July of last year to comply with state statute. Wayne Cole serves as the appraiser. The salary will go to $25.69 per hour. Currently it is a 32 hour per week position.
County Treasurer Austin Duerfeldt met with the Commissioners. The Board approved striking of two personal property tax distress warrants that have been determined to be uncollectible. One for Coni’s Place for tax year 2006 amounting to just over $50 and for Michael Wiles for tax years 2008 – 2012 totaling more than $480.
Sheriff Randy Houser presented an agreement to Commissioners with the Lincoln / Lancaster County Child Advocacy Center for development of a satellite office in Nebraska City in order to comply with state statutes. The Board approved entering into the agreement. Richardson Counties Share of the cost will be $2,100.
