(KMZA)--The Seneca Area Chamber of Commerce and Seneca Downtown Impact Inc. held their annual meeting Sunday evening at the Spring Creek Golf Course club house.
Seneca Area Chamber/SDI director Courtney Schmelzle reported on the organization's activities last year. Schelzle said that the chamber/SDI had 119 members in 2013, an increase of 16 additional members. She said that the organization held 13 events during the year, drawing an estimated more than 5,000 people to Seneca. In addition, the Chamber sold $50,329 gift certificates over the year.
Those attending the meeting held an election of the board of directors. Elected to those positions were Darrel Kohlman, Cathy Holthaus, Brandon Nordhus, Nancy Gafford, Jack Willmeth, Matt Rehder, Stephanie Haug, Jerry Nolte, Kate Haynie and Julie Bergman. Darrel Kohlman will serve as board president and Cathy Holthaus as vice president.
