02/19/2014

(KTNC) -- More incumbent officeholders in Richardson County filed to run for re-election, just before Tuesday’s filing deadline.
Among those who filed to run in the upcoming May primary is County Attorney Doug Merz. He’ll run on the Democratic Party ballot in the primary.
Two school board members also filed for new terms.
Scott Huppert will seek another four-year term on the Falls City School Board and Steve Schaardt of Table Rock will run for a position on the Humboldt-Table Rock-Steinauer School Board.
While Tuesday was the incumbent filing deadline, non-incumbents have until Monday, March 3rd to file.
