(KLZA) -- An opportunity for breakfast or lunch out and a chance to help out the youth of Falls City presents itself Sunday at Falls City High School.
The 15th annual Falls City Recreation Pancake and Sausage Feed will be held in the Commons area at Falls City High School from 8 a-m til 1 p-m Sunday. A number of years ago the idea for a pancake and sausage feed replaced the door to door collections for the rec program that provides activities for hundreds of Falls City area kids throughout the year. Baseball, Softball, T-Ball, Flag Football, Soccer are some of the programs sponsored annually by Falls City Recreation.
Falls City Rec provides the safest and updated equipment they can. Annual costs include bats, balls, helmets, catching equipment, and pay for kids to help referee and umpire.
The annual pancake and sausage fees hours are 8 a-m to 1 p-m Sunday at Falls City High School. A free will donation will be accepted for the meal.
