Boil Water Advisory Lifted for Reserve
02/26/2014

(KNZA)--The Kansas Department of Health and Environment has rescinded the boil water advisory for the Brown County community of Reserve.

The boil advisory was issued on February 13th because of a loss of pressure in the community’s water supply system due to a water main break.

KDHE says laboratory testing on samples collected from the town’s water supply indicate no evidence of contamination, and all other conditions that placed the system at risk of contamination are deemed to be resolved.

As a result, Reserve residents no longer need to boil the water they use for drinking or food preparation.
