( KNZA)--The Kansas Department of Health and Environment has rescinded the boil water advisory for Jefferson County Rural Water District #10, which includes Lakeshore Estates.
The boil advisory was issued Monday because of a loss of pressure in the water system due to a water main break.
KDHE says laboratory testing on samples collected from the Water District indicate no evidence of contamination, and all other conditions that placed the system at risk of contamination are deemed to be resolved.
As a result, customers of the Water District no longer need to boil the water they use for drinking or food preparation.
