(KNZA)--Starting March 17th, the Brown County driver’s license station will be open five days a week from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Currently, the driver license station, located on the second floor of the Brown County Courthouse outside the doors of the Treasurer’s office, is open Tuesday through Friday.
County Treasurer Cheryl Lippold recently told the County Commission that the state is now allowing driver’s license offices to be opened on Mondays and requested approval to be open the additional day.
She received approval from the County Commission to have the driver’s license clerk work five days a week instead of the current 4 days.
