(KLZA) -- The Nebraska Game and Parks Commission has completed it’s trout stocking project in Southeast Nebraska for this spring. Approximately 600 10-inch trout were stocked in Stanton Lake Monday afternoon and about 300 more were stocked at the Pawnee City Pond.
The commission previoiusly stocked Rainbow Trout in the Humboldt City Park Lake, Rotary Club Lake in Auburn, and at Steinhart Park in Nebraska City.
The fish are now waiting for meals offered by local anglers.
