(KAIR)--Atchison County law enforcement officials have solved a burglary and vehicle theft case, and the suspect is a familiar one.
Atchison County Sheriff Jack Laurie says the incident took place between December 28th, 2013 and January 1st, 2014, and involved the theft of a 2008 Dodge Ram 2500 stored in a building located near 238th and River Road. Multiple tools were also stored in the building and were allegedly taken as well.
20-year-old Jonathan Turner was taken into custody last week in connection with the burglary and theft. Turner had allegedly been involved in a previous incident at the old Bromley Quarry in January. Laurie says a few of the stolen items have been recovered, including just the engine and transmission from the vehicle.
Turner is facing three felony counts of burglary, vehicle theft, and theft of property or services, and one misdemeanor count of criminal damage to property.
His preliminary hearing has been set for March 27th.
