(KMZA)-- Interviews will be conducted next week with representatives of three firms that submitted proposals to serve as construction manager at risk for a new Nemaha County Jail.
County Commissioner Gary Scoby says all three companies will be interviewed on Monday.
Proposed is a new 34-bed about 15,000-square-foot jail that would be connected to the existing county Law Enforcement Center in Seneca.
The cost of the facility has been estimated at $3.5 to $4 million.
The county plans to pay for the new facility with capital outlay funds, which they have been saving over the past several years.
