(KNZA)--A Troy man was injured Wednesday morning when the tractor he was driving was struck by a semi truck.
The Kansas Highway Patrol says the wreck occurred shortly before 9:30 at the intersection of K-7 Highway and 225th Road near Fanning in Doniphan County.
The Patrol says 54-year-old Roger Ross was northbound on K-7 in a John Deere tractor and was attempting to turn left onto 225th Road when a semi tried to pass him and struck his tractor.
Ross was transported to Heartland Regional Medical Center in St. Joseph with unspecified injuries.
The semi driver, 72-year-old Wathena resident Donald Shaw, wasn‘t hurt.
