(KMZA)--The execution of a search warrant on a Wetmore residence leads to the arrest of two on drug charges.
According to a press release from the Nemaha County Sheriff’s Department, deputies served a search warrant at 315 5th Street late Monday night. Seized was marijuana, various paraphernalia, marijuana plants and scales.
Arrested were 37-year-old Christina Ramirez and 39-year-old Joseph Cisneros, both of Wetmore.
Cisneros faces charges of distribution of marijuana within 1,000 feet of a school and possession of drug paraphernalia. At last report, he remained in the Nemaha County Jail.
Ramirez faces charges of possession of marijuana and paraphernalia. She is currently free on $2,500 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on April 29th.
