A disturbance report at an Atchison residence over the weekend, has led to an arrest of one of the home's occupants.
According to Atchison Police Chief Mike Wilson, officers responded to a disturbance call early Saturday afternoon at a home located in the 700 block of Kearney. Once on the scene, officers started to investigate, and quickly discovered 37-year-old Kelly McGuire of Atchison hiding in a room.
When McGuire was searched, officials discovered what is believed to be several controlled substances including the synthetic marijuana K2, drug paraphernalia, and other substances that were sent to the lab for identification.
