(KLZA) -- An 18-year old Omaha man was transported by helicopter from Auburn due to injuries sustained in one-vehicle crash Tuesday morning.
Tyler Vickers was traveling east towards Auburn on Highway 136 when the pickup he was driving crossed the westbound lane and struck a driveway marker at the exit for the Sheridan Cemetery.
The vehicle continued east through the ditch and struck a traffic sign then proceeded through the grass and rolled onto the passenger side and struck a tree.
No details of Vickers injuries were made available but the injuries were not thought to be life-threatening.
The 1992 Ford Pickup was totaled. Vickers was wearing a safety restraint. Neither alcohol nor drugs are suspected to have been a factor in the accident.
