(KLZA) -- The Excel Development Group out of Lincoln has submitted paperwork for funding for a Phase II senior housing development adjacent to the Wilderness Falls area at 31st and Barada Street in Falls City.
The proposal is to build seven duplexes that would have eight three-bedroom units and six two-bedroom units and would include a Community Room. The funding review process begins this month and if funds are approved, construction could start as early as July of this year. The units would be available for lease.
Currently a project is underway one West 31st Street to have a 2-bedroom home and a 3-bedroom home erected. AHRS Construction has poured concrete for basements and the streets and water and sewer lines have been extended for the market rate homes. The homes are available for purchase from Falls City Homefront, LLC.
Information on the homes for sale is available from Falls City Realty and Miller Monroe Company.
