(KAIR)--The burn ban issued by Atchison County officials has been lifted.
That, according to County Emergency Management Director Wes Lanter, who adds the ban was only in effect for the duration of the Red Flag Warning that had been issued by the National Weather Service, which expired at 7:00 Wednesday evening.
However, if another Red Flag Warning is issued, another burn ban may be possible.
