(KMZA)--A two-vehicle wreck at the intersection of U.S. 36 Highway and K-148 in Washington County early Thursday evening injured at least two Marysville teens.
The Kansas Highway Patrol says a southbound car driven by 19-year-old Christopher Mayfield entered the intersection and was struck by a westbound semi on U.S. 36 shortly before 6.
A passenger in the car, 13-year-old Hunter Mayfield, was transported to the Hanover Hospital with what were described as disabling injuries.
The Patrol says Christopher Mayfield was also injured and another passenger in the car, 14-year-old Jessica Larabee, received possible injuries. However, the Patrol report doesn’t indicate either was transported to a hospital.
The semi driver, from Union Star, Missouri, wasn’t hurt.
