(KAIR)--A Meriden woman who allegedly shot at her nephew during a fight has been formally charged.
According to Jefferson County Sheriff Jeff Herrig, 51-year-old Nedra Snow has been charged with one count of attempted voluntary manslaughter in connection with the incident that took place Wednesday night.
Herrig says deputies were called to a trailer park south of Meriden just after 9:00 when several people reported hearing loud arguing followed by a gun shot. Upon investigation, it was discovered that Snow appeared to be intoxicated, and allegedly fired a single shot from a shotgun at her nephew. No one was hit.
Initial reports indicated that Snow had fired at her son, but Herrig says that her nephew was the intended victim.
Snow has yet to make her first appearance in court, and no bond has been set. She remains in the Jefferson County Jail.
