(KAIR)--Black smoke blanketed the western edge of Atchison Tuesday evening as a structure fire sent the smoke into the early evening air.
Atchison Fire, Police and EMS rushed to the building, which sits just west of the Cash Saver Grocery store, shortly before 7:00.
Initial reports indicate that oil-containing mechanical equipment inside the facility likely led to the dense black smoke.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
No injuries are reported.
